Airport Link train/subway departs frequently from Domestic and International rail stations, which are connected to the airline terminals via lifts and pedestrian subways. Note that it works from around 5:00 am to 00:30 hrs.

A full adult same day return ticket from Sydney Domestic Airport Station to the city circle stations is $32.80.
As a more general indication, from Sydney Domestic Airport Station to any of the City Stations, or Kings Cross, a single one way ticket is:
