Buenos Aires subway (subte), is one of the best ways to move within the city, as it has an extensive network and is much faster than public buses. Each trip costs about $4.5 ARS, but you will have to buy contactless cards (Subtepass or Premetro) which have to be loaded with money. These cards cost about $2 ARS and can be purchased at any ticket office.

1 to 20 trips: $4,50 ARS each
21 to 30 trips: $3,60 ARS each
31 a 40 viajes: $3,15 ARS each
More than 41 trips: $2,70 ARS each
- The gradual rate applies from the first day of the month to the last. It can be used every day, without time limit.
How it works?
When using the SUBE and MONEDERO cards, it will be applied to each passenger discounts of 20%, 30% and 40% automatically after 20, 30 or 40 trips per month, respectively.
